Christmas Party

The much admired Calanova course was the host last Friday 15th. of the Christmas Competition organised every year by Golf Leisure Breaks. As usual, players were competing for some great traditional prizes, including a huge hamper, full of Christmas goodies. Some marvelous sunny weather, combined with a great golf course ensured that everyone enjoyed the day, which was rounded off with a presentation dinner at the popular “Crumps” restaurant, where the winners were presented with their prizes after a sumptuous dinner. For a variety of reasons (which I’ll explore later), the numbers were down on previous years, but this didn’t detract from the enjoyment of those who took advantage of the 75€ package, which included green fee, buggy, dinner and some valuable prizes.
