INTERNATIONAL CHALLENGE MATCH

Last year,ITAGS, a golf society hailing from Ipswich in England, challenged members of the Golf Leisure Breaks G.S. and residents of the Costa del Sol to a Ryder Cup style match, which was duly played at the Mijas International Golf Club. After a tight match played in poor weather conditions, both sides met in the evening to enjoy a prize-giving dinner.  The event was a complete success, so much so that ITAGS now wish to make the match an annual affair. They will be bringing 20 members to the coast in late November and the match is being arranged for Friday, November 28th at the Calanova Club. The green fee, including shared buggy, is a mere 48€ and we are seeking players to join us for what promises to be fascinating day’s golf.
