Christmas – Some Welcome Light Relief
Posted December 19th, 2008 by adminFeel-good factors might be thin on the ground as the world economic recession bites, but it seems clear that millions of Europeans are determined to enjoy themselves for the next week or two, whatever repercussions may be lying in wait in 2009.
High street spending on Christmas presents continues to defy the gravity of the situation, but mercenary as it may seem considering the significance of Christmas, a brief period of “joie de vivre” is hard to resist when an uncertain future lies ahead. For golfers, this may take the form of getting in as much golf as possible over the next few weeks and several golf courses have made some tempting offers, over and above the now customary mid-winter deals. More information on these is available from Golf Leisure Breaks, by calling Julie or Leila on 952 582 943. However, there is still no news on how our golf clubs intend to handle the economic situation once the high season resumes in February. However, some input from you, our readers, on what our golf administrators could do to make golf trips to the Costa del Golf more attractive during 2009 might help them to decide on a course of action. Just email your views to info@golflb.com for your views to be aired on our website blog.
Meanwhile, all of us at Golf Leisure Breaks wish our clients and readers a Happy Christmas and, while a prosperous New Year may be too much to hope for, we can wish you all happiness and good health.
