Back in 1990 Julie and David Crumpler founded Leisure Breaks sl (the first locally based golf tour operator) which latterly became known as Golf Leisure Breaks sl. The ethos of the company then was to build a business based on good client service and of course this remains the case today. Good service to clients together with working closely with the Coast’s Golf directors has been the secret of our longevity. In recent times as the economic climate becomes harder for everyone we continue to strive to be service orientated and competitive and do so with a highly visible business which has centrally located offices in Fuengirola, qualified staff, travel agency licencing and full bonding. We have been in business for 18 years and with our new younger colleagues we are looking forward to the next 18 years.

So why is this weeks article in SUR devoted to a little introspection about Golf Leisure Breaks. Well in essence it seems clear that during these challenging economic times booking with a company with our credentials becomes ever more important. Our track record speaks for itself and although we recognize that there are a few companies on the Coast who match our credentials in terms of bonding and legality we do urge readers to look for these attributes before parting with their cash and not be tempted by dealing with the here today gone tomorrow operators. In these difficult times the “gone tomorrow” is more likely to be pertinent.
