WHEN THE GOING GETS TOUGH…

…the tough get going. Many satellite industries rely on winter golf tourism for their existence.

Restaurants are a typical example, so GLB are creating a programme designed to introduce visiting golfers to twenty of the finest restaurants in Fuengirola. The programme will be symbiotic, in that visitors to the selected restaurants will be made aware of the services which GLB has to offers. If successful, the programme will be extended to other areas along the Costa del Sol.

The project comprises the issue of “Loyaltee Cards”, which will be distributed to golfing clients, together with a local map. The map will contain twenty advertising spaces for selected restaurants, with their location clearly indicated. A map on the reverse side will show the locations clearly indicated. A map on the reverse side will show the locations of every golf course on the coast. Each restaurant will be provided with plaques for every table, one side advertising the host restaurant, the reverse side explaining the services which GLB can offer.
br> The key to the project is that the restaurants will pay nothing, but will be advised to offer some incentive for golfers to visti their restaurant, such as a 10% discount, or a bottle of wine between two customers.
