NEW VENUE FOR GLB GOLF SOCIETY

From Thursday 26th. March, Cabopino will be the regular Thursday venue for a GLB Golf Society’s stableford competition, joining other popular courses, such as Sta. Maria (Mondays), La Noria (Tuesdays), Parador (Wednesdays), and Calanova (Fridays).  This ensures that Golf Leisure Breaks remains unique among golf societies by offering an unrivalled choice of venues and dates.

For many years, regular visitors have looked forward to playing in the GLBGolf Society competitions, but are now often joined by resident golfers, who enjoy the comraderie and the friendly competitiveness of these informal events. Resident golfers (i.e. those who now live here on the coast the year round) are now invited to join us, free of charge, to take advantage of some specially reduced green fees and some real variety in venues and a choice of which day(s) to play.  New members also receive a society shirt free of charge.  Future plans include arranged matches with other golf societies, a summer league and a year ending “Captain’s Day” event.  Why not join us?  Just call Julie on 952 582 943.
