THE COSTA DEL GOLF – STILL EUROPE’S Nº ONE?

Well nearly, but not quite yet.  In many cases the price is right, with green fees often being reduced to 2003 levels, but service and quality in the way some courses are presented leave room for improvement. This is the feedback we receive from many of our original clients, who have chosen to return to our shores to take advantage of the weather and the unrivalled choice of quality golf courses. However, a situation that needs to be addressed is the penchant for knee-jerk reaction which some clubs have developed, by offering special deals to the public at very short notice. The result is that visiting golfers who booked their golf well in advance through various tour operators arrive for their game, only to find that a lower green fee than that charged by their agent is available. This leaves the agent in the embar-rassing position of appearing to be incompetent, or worse. We at Golf Leisure Breaks always ensure that our clients get the best deal, even if it means changing the reservation many times to save the client those extra Euros. We can only do this when the courses inform us of their offers.
