THE COSTA DEL GOLF “ENJOYS” A REST

Recent signs of a recovery in the fortunes of the Costa del Golf’s tourism industry are currently experiencing a lull as golfers from the rest of Europe prefer to spend the run-up to Christmas at home.
Although advance bookings for 2010 look promising, our golf courses are presently relying on residents to keep things going through December & January. But the good news is that the clubs now have an opportunity to get their courses into tiptop condition for the hoped for avalanche of visitors next Spring. All that’s required is the will and some much needed rain, preferably with the latter coming during the hours of darkness!
