Fear not as the title does not refer to the ongoing ‘player rating’ saga but to the news that Fabio Capello will swap sports indexes to inaugurate a charity golf tournament at La Quinta Golf in aid of the Seve Ballesteros Foundation. Aided by his friend, Manuel Piñero, teams of four will compete over two [...]

Playing in golf competitions may seem a little daunting to some, but they can be fun, as thousands of golfers who regularly play in the Golf Leisure Breaks Stableford competitions have found. The prizes are fun but not the kind to attract bandits, so anyone who just plays to his/her handicap has a chance of [...]

Hello,
I recently played Cabopino and found that the greens are nowhere near as good as they were this time last year, I imagine it is due to the amount of players they have had in the high season. If there is something I think most golfers in common is that we do not enjoy playing [...]

But there is another side to the coin. Having carried out this maintenance work, thus providing immaculate greens, how annoying it must be for conscientious green staff and responsible golfers, to find the greens completely spoilt by the inconsiderate few who fail to repair their pitch marks. As a pitch park is more often caused [...]
